HOUSTON- On May 2nd, the Association of Business and Professional Women (ABPW) had the pleasure to have Dr. Rob Pennington, Ph.D. Educational Psychologist and award winning author, as guest speaker in order to provide the fifty plus members of the group with tips and guidelines on how to turn difficult and challenging experiences into great opportunities.
Dr. Pennington’s presentation particularly focused on ways to eliminate the majority of disagreements in both personal and work-related relationships, as well as how to handle conflict-induced emotions that often leave communication skills forgotten.
ABPW members meet the first Thursday of every month at the Hilton Hotel on Nasa Pkwy at 7am. For more information about ABPW, contact (281) 723-4250 and visit http://www.theabpw.org/ .
